Vail

Angie and I went to Vail this past week. We had the grandparents stay home and watch Hudson. We had a relaxing vacation and both learned how to snowboard, albeit not very well. We were happy that everyone got to stay with Hudson and we were also excited to have some time to ourselves. It was cold, but about as cold as it was here at home, but we were glad to get back.

One of Hudson's favorite pasttimes now is Swiffering.

Grandpa bought Hudson another wagon, here he is enjoying it.

Seems like one of his "put away" toys made it back into circulation. Here he is posing with a relic of his past.

Hudson is doing well and gets cuter every week. His language is starting to pick up, as well as his signs.

Everyday, we have to watch about 5 episodes of Blue's Clues or Doodlebops, and he does it from the comfort of his monkey chair.

About the only picture we took in Vail of ourselves. The other photos were in blizzard conditions and didn't come out too well :)

Chuck-E-Cheeze

This weekend we took Hudson to his first visit to Chuck-E-Cheeze just to get out and do something since its so cold outside. He enjoyed playing with the coins more than anything, but we did manage to get him to ride some the "attractions".

Ski-Ball, we won enough tickets to get him something to choke on, but nothing more significant than that.

We had some photos from daycare developed and thought a couple were cute. The first one though is one day when Hudson and dad were home alone...this is one of his last bottles before it went away for good (that was a hard week).

Painters have finished and we have been furniture shopping in the past couple of days to get some things ordered.

In other news, I managed to crash my new airplane (Christmas present), within 12 seconds of getting it outside. Seems like I failed to check the controls (up and down were reversed) before takeoff. The first crash did a lot of damage but all repairable with superglue. The second crash (afterwhich I realized the first crash was not because of the 'wind'), broke it beyond repair.

The good news is that to replace the entire plane is only 30 dollars...but the manhours are not as cheap and the parts are on backorder. :)

2006 Christmas Video

Here is some video from Preston's Birthday and Christmas. Everyone here is doing well. Hudson did well with his ear tubes, funniest part was seeing him act drunk after they gave him Versed. Anyway, we are looking forward to having a more emotionally stable child and coming off of antibiotics for a while.

In other news, the decorator has sent us on a couple of expeditions to buy furniture and the painters are here getting started. We are looking forward to finally getting things going here.
