Snowing on Easter?

Easter came with a hurry this year. Hudson got to dye some eggs by dropping them ever so careful into the cups (yeah right, he's a boy, KERPLUNK!)

Turns out our Easter Bunny only eats severely bruised apples dropped from the grocery store, so mom and dad cut them up and put them on the front porch so that the Easter Bunny can eat them. In the morning, of course sippy in hand, Hudson astutely points out that the apples appear to have been eaten.

But he did leave some candy and presents. Yeah!

Well, we thought about going and doing outside easter egg hunt, but a blizzard rolled in. Yeah thats right, a blizzard. Dad is used to wearing polo shirts and shorts during Easter, here in Missouri, its a blizzard. Needless to say we did not go outside.

Is Spring Ever Coming?

We've been pretty busy lately, but did take some time out to go eat Chinese food. Here at this fine establishment, they have a sign on the air conditioner that says "air condition unit", in case you didn't know. I guess I would have thought it was a robot if there were not a sign on the thing.

Hudson and dad went to the Science Center on one of our days together. Here is Hudson customizing a electronic fish spawner. You design the fish and how it behaves, then it spawns onto the big screen with his name attached.

One of the more fascinating displays was an electric train that you had to program using a series of 1's and 0's to send commands to the train for forward, reverse, and speed. Here is Hudson at the helm..note the seriousness.

We are pretty tired of being inside, so even when its just a little bit nice out, we like to be outside. We found a small rock in the area where the play gym is going so we had to work on getting that out. Turns out it was huge rock.

We were not so successful at getting it out of the hole so we had to call in some reinforcements. Uncle Mark came over with his tractor and helped get the rock out, now dad has to find a ton of dirt to fill that hole

MORE BIG NEWS!! From Hudson

Mommy and Daddy decided that it was time to reign in SOME of the mayhem at our house..... so Mommy is going part-time after her maternity leave. She is SO VERY excited and Daddy says a happy wife makes a happy life (cause Mommy made him memorize that from the Oprah show)!

In other news, Mommy and Daddy are still taking suggestions for my brother's names. I've only come up with "baby" and they keep asking for something else. But I think they must really like it ... or else I've been REALLY good lately, cause I heard them say they are going to buy me a swingset and fort for the back yard.

YIPPEEE outside fun and mud.... here I come!

Baby Brother Ultrasound

IT'S A BOY !!!!

We all went to my ultrasound this morning and got to finally see our baby .... and IT'S A BOY. Hudson was less than interested once he found out the TV screen was not going to play Blues Clues or Little Einsteins.... so we still have some education to do there. But we've started to teach him the word brother, and I hope once he feels the first big kicks he'll become more interested. We were most thrilled that the baby appeared healthy on the pictures, with all 10 fingers and toes and Brian's nose. We feel very blessed and are excited to welcome him to the world.
