This weekend we went to Grandma and Grandpa Millers for New Years. Hudson, of course, was the center of attention and everyone had a good time figuring out the best way to entertain Hudson for many of the daylight hours so that he would sleep at night. Grandma got to sleep with Hudson the first night to give mom and dad some rest and they really needed it. He was very active and vocal and we got some good pictures and video.
The weather here is a little different than back home. Here it was 70 degrees so we got to spend some time outside without multiple coats and wraps. No snow here. He didn't stay awake too long with the nice breeze and the gentle rocking.
Even during the night the weather was so good we went back out on the swing. We even roasted hot dogs, lit sparklers, and made Smores!

After a good feeding and changing and with the right positioning on the side of the couch, Hudson got some practice with his head control.

We decided to go on our first stroller ride and here is mom and grandma getting him all ready and fastened in.

It wasn't cold enough for this coat, but you know how Grandmaws are.

Everything went well, we had a good time, enjoyed the weather and getting to relax some. Got to visit the relatives and see almost everybody. This year was filled with a lot of things for us: new house, new car, new baby. We are very happy and fortunate and hope that 2006 is even better.
Happy New Year everyone.
