Well its been a while since we have posted. We are keeping very busy...especially with Hudson. He has grown so much and we are constantly amazed at how he grows everyday.
We have had several issues with the daycare including 3 "Hudson got bit" calls. Thankfully none of them broke the skin. He's been sick a couple times too, and when he doesn't feel good we can surely tell ... he gets very clingy and cries if mommy or daddy even go potty. With the illnesses come coughing, and with the coughing comes puking. We had to buy a a carpet cleaner to keep up.
The good news is that when he's not sick, he's still a very happy baby and likes to giggle and play in his toybox. He waves good-bye really well, except when its in the appropriate setting. The other night he waved at the moon.
As far as the house goes, we are still in the process of getting furniture in place. We have a new dining room table and chairs and china but it took Broyhill 6 tries to get it right. First they brought the wrong table and china, then the wrong tower for the entertainment center, then the wrong tower for the entertainment center, then the wrong tower for the entertainment center...and no I didn't accidently repeat myself. Finally we got it all right after much yelling and back and forth.
The yard is a bear to keep up with b/c of the heat we have had. Dad spends much of the week moving sprinklers around. We are getting a sprinkler system installed to keep up with the moving patch of dead that keeps moving around the yard. I don't think that the new trees are going to survive.
Grandma and Grandpa Menz were just here to get Grandpa a new knee. He did reallywell and got to go home early today.
Otherwise, we are looking forward to the Labor Day weekend. Hopefully we will be able to go to the airshow this weekend if the weather cooperates.
Here's what dad has been working on in his spare time. He's not quite finished yet but its getting closer everyday.
