Since we had to work on Christmas, we took our yearly vacation this year to Louisiana to see the Millers. Hudson is at the age where he gets his own airplane seat which made the flying part a little more bearable for everyone.

Shortly after we arrived we got to eat Pizza for Preston's 7th birthday party. This was after jumping outside and shooting hoops...Hudson even made a couple baskets (see video).

Hudson learned the way to make this party toy work is stomp with your feet while blowing.
You can bet that wherever we go, Blue is not far behind.
Hudson is into action words: "Im Running!" is the theme here. Usually close behind is "Im jumping!"
Grandma had some Satsumas that needed pickin' and eatin'.
Cheese!
Weather was nice, not too cold.
Come on daddy! Another new thing, for some reason Hudson started saying "Mommy" and "Daddy" instead of momma and dadda.
Went to a Pig Roast out in Marksville. First time that Angie and Hudson had been to one. For some strange reason I didn't get a picture of the actual pig.
Went to the mall one day to get mom some maternity clothes (yes that's right, we are now expecting number 2!). Hudson got in some cheat time on the skiball game.
Overall it was a great trip, though running through the airport to chase a 2 year old is exhausting. We went to the casino to spend some money (spa treatments for mom and dad), but we also won some money on the blackjack tables ($80 dollars, not too bad). We got to see 2 movies (Charlie Wilson's War and I Am Legend) and reset our clocks to the new year.
More to come!
